Roasted Garlic and brie

Roasted garlic and brie make the perfect pairing for a rich, savory treat. Roasting the garlic mellows its sharpness, transforming it into a sweet, mild flavor, while the creamy brie adds a smooth, buttery texture. Once baked, the garlic becomes soft and spreadable, making it an ideal complement to the brie. Spread this delightful combo on your favorite crackers or a fresh baguette for a delicious appetizer or snack.
Ingredients:
Whole head garlic bulb
Olive Oil
Brie Cheese
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 °F
Take your bulb of garlic and slice the top third off (do not peel your garlic) to expose the cloves. Drizzle olive oil over the cut portions. Wrap each head tightly in aluminum foil, or grease proof paper, and place in a baking dish.
Bake garlic in the oven for 45 minutes to 1 hr.
Place your brie in an oven safe dish just bigger than your brie or on a sheet of parchment paper.
Bake brie for 20 minutes. Or until cheese is gooey. Check it often.
Squeeze the softened garlic from each clove. Spread on slices of a baguette or crackers, and top with gooey baked Brie. Serve hot or cold.
